Yep, silly, and so she. With several Aussies (you can do your own math), I'm like any other mom when calling their kids and sometimes get tripped up over their names. With Prim and Pearl close in the way they sound, and also very close in "friendship" and always together, I usually manage to stutter out a "puh puh puh Prim" sound. Even better, she actually comes to her name.
Prim has been an absolutely delightful puppy. This was no doubt the "cleanest" litter I've raised.
The rest of the puppies have been in their new homes for a few months now, and all are settling in very well. Their owners tell me they are a very smart bunch of puppies, easily trained, and with a certain "presence". Apparently Colin (formerly Scotch) feels he should not be in a crate or in a doggie room, and should always be at Nancy's side. He's not whiney or needy, just strongly vocalizes his demands.
Roxie has brother Revy to keep her company and teach her the ropes. Revy is an Emmy x Gracin son, now 2 years old.
Juice is busy going to work with Donna at the grooming shop on a daily basis, and learning to live with a few Corgis and his Aussie housemate, Jersey. Donna tells me he has a "mind of his own".
